Presenting your written work to the public can often feel harder, and scarier, than writing the work itself. This class will teach professional public speaking skills through a variety of activities and exercises. Students will then learn to chose effective excerpts from their own work and discover how best to use their new speaking skills to present those works in public. Instructors Michael Cook and Lindsay Smith are both busy freelance writers (B, Metromix.com, Style Magazine) with veteran stage presence.
